About
TermsWatch is the daily record of AI vendor terms — a service that watches the terms of service, privacy policies, and license pages of AI companies, detects when they change, and explains what changed in plain language.
Why it exists
AI vendors update their terms constantly, and the changes that matter most are rarely announced: a quiet shift in whether your prompts are used for model training, a retention period extended from 30 days to indefinite, a license flipped from open to restrictive, a new jurisdiction clause that changes which law governs your data. Nobody has time to re-read twenty vendors' terms every week — so most teams find out about changes months late, or never.
TermsWatch exists to close that gap: automated daily checks against the terms pages that matter, diffs that show exactly what changed, and plain-language explainers so you can decide in minutes whether a change affects you.
What it does
- Change detection — daily checks of tracked vendor terms, privacy, and license pages, with side-by-side diffs.
- Plain-language explainers — what changed, and why it might matter, without legalese.
- Scorecards — a 0–100 rating of how each vendor treats your data: training-data use, retention, deletion rights, human review, sharing, residency, licensing.
- Exposure map — see which of the vendors you actually use have the riskiest terms.
- Alerts — weekly digests on the free plan; instant email and webhook alerts on Pro.
An important note
TermsWatch is not legal advice and not a substitute for reading the actual terms or consulting a lawyer. Our explainers help you spot what deserves a closer look — the legal judgment stays with you and your counsel.
Who built it
TermsWatch is built by Ingenious AI, based in Orange Walk Town, Belize. It is part of an independent suite of AI-security tools, each focused on one job and built to a professional standard.
